Mid Century Modern Sculptural Solid Walnut Dresser, Circa 1965
This is such a special piece. Absolutely stunning in person, this solid walnut Mid Century Modern dresser is sure to impress. Pictures can’t accurately capture its glowing beauty. It is extremely rare to find a case piece that is solid wood. Only a few designers worked in solid wood. The dramatically curved legs arch out in an almost anthropomorphic fashion. The drawer fronts are book-matched, with the grain matching across the front of the case, this too is particularly noteworthy as it takes great craftsmanship to achieve. We love the swooping, warm, walnut grain and the elongated organic recessed drawer pulls. We have restored this stunning Mid-century modern sculpted dresser to excellent vintage condition. It has been finished in Flat lacquer to give the piece a protective coat. Made Circa 1965.
